Use of cookies (disclosure)

We use cookies to enhance the functionality of our forum. The way in which we use cookies, we believe, isn’t a privacy hazard. For example, we don’t show personalized ads or, for some other reason, track you for business. We’re not going to display a consent banner until there’s a change in those circumstances.
What is “a cookie?” It’s text stored on your device (stored by us, tradyap.com, or by some other website). Web cookies are regulated by the IETF specifications and ultimately enforced by your web browser.
How we use: for example, as a feature of convenience, we use cookies to enable recurring visits without re-authentication. We pair that with a unique session cookie to reduce the count of authentication checks we perform.
Bandwidth and energy saved on both ends!
Cookie removal: You can remove cookies at any time via your web browser’s settings. Beware that this may cause you to be logged out elsewhere! Without manual intervention, our cookies expire in 45 days (max) since last seen.

Privacy concerns: if you believe that we come short in disclosures or, for whatever reason, don’t do enough, let us know! Contact details in the FAQ.
